Gaurav Mathur, MD, MRCP, has been a physician since 1997. Dr. Mathur comes to Access Health Care directly from completing his United States fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mathur brings to Access Health Care a wide range of experience, having completed a vast amount of medical training in three countries. In addition to his fellowship training, Dr. Mathur also completed his residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. In the United Kingdom Dr. Mathur was a cardiology clinical research fellow at the University of Hull, United Kingdom. He was also a cardiology clinical fellow at the University Hospital Aintree in Liverpool and completed internal medicine residency at Warrington District General Hospital in Warrington, United Kingdom. While at Warrington he was awarded membership in the Royal College of Physicians. Dr. Mathur also completed residency in internal medicine at Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Group Hospital in Mumbai, India. He received his medical education from the prestigious Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, India. He is the author of over 20 publications in peer review journals in addition to presentations at numerous international conferences. Dr. Mathur is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, and American Psychological Association. Dr. Mathur is married. His wife is a geriatric and adult psychiatrist. They have one son and one daughter. He enjoys reading and philosophy.
