Juan J. Egas, MD, specializes in multidisciplinary pain management. He completed a pain medicine fellowship at the renowned Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Palo Alto, California. His fellowship included an emphasis on alternatives to chronic opioid therapy for nonmalignant pain and a multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic, debilitating pain.
Dr. Egas completed a residency in general anesthesia at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He also completed an internship in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and received his medical degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Guayaquil, Ecuador.
