Marisela Dominguez, MD, is a hospitalist dedicated to the care of Access patients while they are in the hospital.
Dr. Dominguez has practiced medicine since 1996. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed general residency and family medicine residency, as well as a faculty fellowship all at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She has a wide range of interests including acupuncture, hospital medicine, natural medicine, stem cell therapy, and addiction medicine in addition to family medicine. Her experience ranges from private practice to academic medicine. She has served as assistant professor at the University of Illinois and assistant professor at the University of Florida.
She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
In her private life, she lives at home with her mother, maternal uncle, and brother along with four cats and two dogs. She has other siblings living in Chicago and Miami. Dr. Dominguez is a devout Catholic, and her favorite pastimes include gardening, painting, writing, dancing and practicing her faith.
