Oleg Gligich, MD joined Access Health Care after completing his Hematology and Oncology training fellowship at the renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center, New York, NY. Dr. Gligich received his bachelor’s degree in Arts & Science from Hunter College in Manhattan, where he double majored in biology and chemistry with a focus on cancer biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine with honors and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
While completing his residency and fellowship, Dr. Gligich participated in a wide range of research projects with the leaders of the Montefiore Medical Center Cancer program:
Dr. Gligich is the author of many publications, abstracts, and posters in the areas of hematology and medical oncology. Throughout his education, he has participated in a wide variety of clinical extracurricular activities and his volunteer experience includes involvement with the American Cancer Society in Baltimore, the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, and the Menorah Home & Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
He holds membership in both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Gligich is fluent in Russian, basic Spanish and English. He is an avid chess player, and a passionate snowboarder, soccer player, break dancer and now enjoy a wide variety of water sports. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and experimenting with new foods.
